• What is Laser Lipo?
Laser Lipo by Lapex BCS is a revolutionary medical device for spot laser fat reduction; the treatment of cellulite and for skin tightening on both men and women. • How does Laser Lipo work?
By using ultra safe, low level laser light to disrupt the cell membranes of the cells just beneath the skin used by the body to store excess fat. • I’ve found the treatments cheaper elsewhere, what else should I consider as well as price?
We are aware of people offering the Laser Lipo treatments at lower prices. At Sussex Laser Lipo we strive to ensure we are offering the best value for you, the customer, whilst ensuring we provide clean, comfortable and professional facilities. When assessing alternative providers you should ask yourself :-
- PROBLEM - How long is the treatment? Others often reduce the treatment time when offering lower prices, so your results will be significantly diminished. You should be careful of this “compromise”, as it is often a false economy with your results being the true cost!
- SOLUTION - Sussex Laser Lipo ALWAYS provide the full length treatment (30 minutes), to ensure maximum results.
- PROBLEM - Are they insured, trained and certified?
- SOLUTION - Sussex Laser Lipo are fully insured, with all our staff being fully trained and certified in the use of the Laser Lipo equipment.
- PROBLEM - Do they accept card payments, or is it “cash only”?
- SOLUTION - Sussex Laser Lipo accept all major debit and credit cards (except AMEX), cheque and cash. Be aware of providers only accepting cash, it’s your body after all!

• Are you registered with the Care & Quality Commission?
No. As of October 2010, new guidelines published by the C&QC state that clinics offering treatments using Cold Light Class 3B laser equipment DO NOT NEED to be registered. Given the significant cost of registration and ongoing maintenance of this position, we have followed this guidance, allowing us to pass on lower costs to you. However, this does not mean we do not follow industry best practice in all areas of your treatments and care. You are the customer and you are our priority!
• Is it safe?
Yes. The laser light used is extremely safe and the entire process is completely non-invasive. The process has undergone examination and assessment by several medical bodies. Further details can be found here.
• Will I be able to drive after my treatment?
Yes. The treatment is completely non-invasive.
• Can I bring a friend / family member to the treatments / consultation?
No. Unfortunately, to ensure complete privacy for our clients, our treatment room is setup to ensure we provide an environment conducive to privacy. As such, we do not provide facilities for friends / family members to be present in the treatment room during the consultation or treatments. Laser Lipo truly is a non-invasive, pain free treatment, so there is no need for support.
• Do I need to exercise?
Unfortunately, yes. The Laser Lipo treatments will release
the stored fats into your lymphatic and venous system. You need to increase your
metabolic rate (how quickly your body uses the available fuel) through exercise.
We recommend vibration plate-based exercise as a low impact method of increasing
your heart rate and rapidly burning calories (fuel). We will provide access to a
power plate as part of your treatment, but additional exercise will improve your
results further.
• What do I do whilst the treatment is taking place?
This is entirely up to you, as
long as you can remain still and lying down. Many clients read magazines
(we provide a range to choose from), others take the opportunity to take a quick nap! We also offer free
Wi-Fi Internet Access for customers whilst they are waiting and during the treatments, just ask for details when you arrive.
• I have lost weight and been left with loose skin. Will the treatment work for
me?
Yes, as the treatment also works as a skin tightening / skin rejuvenation treatment.
However, in severe cases, more than one course may be required to achieve the desired
results.
• Will the fat cells refill?
Not if you carry on with your new healthy lifestyle (portion
controlled meals and regular exercise). After a period of 4-8 months, the body will
naturally breakdown and remove the unused fat cells.
• Who can be treated with Laser Lipo?
Due to the non-invasive nature of Laser Lipo
treatments, our treatments are suitable for both men and women that wish to look
their best and do not wish to endure the costs and risks of cosmetic surgery. However,
